The Potting Shed is small but perfectly formed for one or two people to stay in complete compact comfort.  

An entrance lobby for coats and boots leads into an open plan kitchen, living area and bedroom, plus a walk-in shower room. ​The Potting Shed is perfect for a short break or longer holiday and, with our special discounts, the longer you stay the better the price! ​

COME ON IN!

The entrance lobby has plenty of coat hooks and a heated rail for drying out any wet walking gear. It's an ideal place for drying off soggy dogs too!

THE KITCHEN

The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, two-ring hob, a combi-oven offering convection, microwave or grill cooking, a separate slow cooker, cafetiere, all cutlery, crockery and cooking pans and utensils. Everyone needs a cuppa when they first arrive, so you'll also find tea, coffee, fresh milk and biscuits!

LIVING AREA

The living area has a TV with Freeview, an extendable dining table and a selection of books and games. There's also a tiny imitation log burner to make winter evenings extra cosy!

The bedroom area has a wardrobe and two small chests of drawers and a very comfortable double bed. All bed linen is provided and the bed will be made up ready for you.

WALK-IN SHOWER ROOM

The walk-in shower room is completely tiled and is perfect for a post walk freshen up! Towels are provided.

DOGS WELCOME!

Dogs and Dartmoor go together and your well-behaved dog is welcome to stay with you. Please note, dogs cannot be left unattended in the Potting Shed. Click here to read more about our dog-friendly accommodation...

OUTSIDE

There is a small enclosed garden area where you can sit and admire the view. South-facing, it's a real suntrap and a lovely spot for al fresco dining. It's also a secure area (up to 3ft high fencing) to let your dog roam.  

ON YOUR BIKE

We can offer bike storage in one of our outbuildings, but bikes are left at your own risk.

GET OUT THERE!

The walking here is fantastic! You can take a different route every day for a week right from the doorstep. Moorland, rivers, lanes, there's miles and miles to explore. Find out more here.
