FROM POTTING SHED... TO COSY NOOK
POTTED ON...
The Potting Shed was just that, a potting shed. When the bungalow was built in about 1960, the owners had a highly productive vegetable garden and this outbuilding, plus a number of other (now removed) wooden sheds, were used for storage of garden equipment and tools etc. There are a number of other outbuildings in the garden, but this was the only one that was detached and looked as if it might be persuaded to take on a new role in life. During the initial 2020 lockdown, a mural appeared on the end wall of the Potting Shed. An idyllic view through an archway, it symbolises hope for a brighter future...
