THE POTTING SHED
Small, but perfectly formed
WELCOME TO THE POTTING SHED
Welcome to The Potting Shed, a bijou retreat in the heart of the pretty moorland village of South Zeal, within the Dartmoor National Park. The Potting Shed is small but perfectly formed and great for one or two people to stay in complete compact comfort. It's cosy, well-appointed and detached, and sits within a private garden, overlooking the veg beds, close to the greenhouse and next door to a working farm.
Dogs and Dartmoor go together and well-behaved dogs are welcome.
If you don't want to cook there are two good pubs in the village. The King's Arms, just 50m up the hill, is a friendly local serving good pub food. The nearest local shop, this is about a 5 minute walk away and stocks a good range of essential, plus fresh veg and excellent home made cakes and home made ready meals.
Pull on your walking boots and you can be on the open moor in 10 minutes. There are so many miles of moorland and woodland and river to walks to explore, you need never take the same walk twice. Whether you want a serious hike or a gentle stroll, it's on the doorstep. Prefer to cycle? We have space to store two bicycles in an adjacent building.
There is free parking very close by and there is also a regular bus service to the village.
Access is easy, we are just 3 miles off the A30.
